A few years ago I was fortunate enough to meet Evan Zodl while surfing in Ocean Grove. He’s originally from LBI and has slowly introduced me to the many sandbars on the island.

On this day, conditions looked just right for some of those places, so I drove down to meet him and a good crew of friends. It was an incredible session with plenty of A-frame barrels.
